My Dell Latitude E6400 Laptop at Bargain Price
In August / September 2008, Dell launched the new series of latitude business notebook. This is the new ‘E’ series, the successor for D series. I really like the design of these laptops, particularly in Dell Latitude E6400. However, it is expensive after I configured for the specification I wanted. So I decided to wait for the upcoming promotions from Dell by frequently checking the Dell advertisements on newspaper and it’s website.
Unfortunately, the price is actually stable for the business laptop after monitoring for few months. There is no price deduction at all. The so-called “promotion” that you can get from Dell for latitude laptop is a “better specification” with the same price. I didn’t buy the laptop because it was still over my budget for a laptop replacement during the “promotion” period.
On Jan 2009, I’ve came across a local auction website that there was a seller selling the Latitude E6400 at a bargain price, almost 30 ~ 35% lower compared to retail price if directly purchase from Dell website (with the same specifications). I bought it after checking the warranty validity from Dell support website (The warranty was still valid for 358 days the day I got it).
There is no problem with this Dell Latitude E6400 even I was doubtful about it’s performance at the beginning because of the low price.
Out of curiosity, I wonder if I can find this kind of bargain on reputable auction website such as eBay but there was no luck. Then, I switched to Amazon.com. I did some searches on Amazon for this laptop and found some good bargain, here it is (discounted Dell Latitude E6400). I’ve found it for you. There were several prices for different configurations. Perhaps you can get the cheapest price at very good spec.
Hopefully the good bargain for Dell Latitude E6400 on Amazon is still available!
