Best Rated Webhosting Company
Once you’ve registered your domain name for your website, you may need a server to host your files.
This is where the webhosting companies play an important role. Nowadays the hosting services are so price competitive and you may get a very cheap hosting services everywhere, however bear in mind that not all the hosting services are good. Anyway you can get very good packages at reasonable pricing if you put in some effort to do some researches.
You should look into the hosting packages / plans that those hosting companies provided, what are the features included.
I’ve done intensive survey on this when i started building websites quite some time ago. I’m not going to discuss all the details, it might be few pages long. But I would suggest you look into these items when you’re purchasing a hosting service:
- Add-on domains (if you would like to build more website in the future)
- Bandwidth (monthly data transfer)
- Disk space (the capacity that’s provided to store your files)
- Support (how fast they response)
- What type of hosting (Windows - ASP SQL or Linux - php MySQL)
- Pre-installed scripts
- …. and much several features
Once you’re happy with the features and support (you may ask others in the forum).
Based on my personal experiences and researches, I found out that there are 2 very good hosting companies I would like to recommend. It really depends on which market segment your targeting (Asian or worldwide)
If it’s worldwide, then I would say HostGator is really good. If you’re targeting Asian market, then go for Exabytes
I have to admit that these 2 companies may be slightly more expensive than other webhosting companies, but it is worth the value based on the services/packages/plans/support they provide.
All in all, HostGator and Exabytes are my best rated webhosting companies.
